Yeovil Agility Club at Dorset County Show

We are a small friendly dog agility training club, where everyone can train their pet dogs to a good competition standard.  Many of our members regularly go away competing at KC shows or UKA shows at the weekends.  Agility is a great hobby to do with your dog, and it also allows you to meet new friends, and have a good social  together after a busy day competing. 

The Club also offers agility for fun, so whether you want to compete or simply have fun with your dog, you will always be welcome at our Club, where you can train in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. 

Our main aim, as a Club, is for everyone to enjoy  themselves at agility training.  

Dog Agility is the fastest growing canine sport in the world.  It compares very well to obedience.  If  you enjoy doing obedience with your dog then you will love doing agility.  

As well as twice weekly training sessions at a level to suit both you and your dog, we hold fun dog agility competition days, social events with and without the dogs and organised trips out to places of interest such as Crufts and Olympia.

We have two training venues near to Yeovil, Somerset.  We train on grass at Bearley, nr Tintinhull,  on Tuesday evenings  and at World Horse Welfare all weather arena at Kingsdon, nr Ilchester, on Thursday evenings.

The Club provides displays to local charities and community groups, this enables our members to been given the opportunity to demonstrate some of their skills they have learnt, and also enables some of our young dogs to train in new environments.

New members are always given a warm welcome.

All our training is reward based, either through toys or treats.
