Events

We have several events going on throughout the year.  Some of these include having various Guest Trainers, Friendly Club Matches, Social Dog Walks with a visit to the pub afterwards.

All our guest trainers are at Grade7 in Kennel Club and Champ at UKA and have more than one dog, that they have been successful with.  It is always good to look at training using varoius methods, as there are many different ways to teach your dog.  These are brilliant days out, where all Club members are invitied to attend and learn from some of the best trainers in the South West.  It is also good to have a natter, a cup coffee and a few cakes afterwards.

We recently had a Club match in Dorset with 2 other Clubs.  We went there with a mix of some who had competed before and some who were brave enough to give it go for the first time.  The weather was perfect and we were well looked after by our hosts. This proved to be a fantastic afternoon out.  This is one event the Club shall endevour to do again and more often.

Our social dog walks are where Club members meet up with their dogs and we all go out for a lovely long walk.  The dogs have a great time playing together and we all have a good laugh along the way.  The visit to the pub at the end, seems to be rather popular for reason!!
